You can relax at the spar or enjoy a round of golf. This location I ideal for families and you can unwind on the property or the many popular attractions in the surrounding area. The outdoor activities that you can engage in include an 18 hole golf course, mini golf, and pools for adults (cold and heated) along with a kiddie pool for the little ones. While in on the golf course you might see some of the resident bird life or antelope during your round. If you want to unwind, you can spend time at the spa.

Unlike a conventional lodge, Safari Is Africa comprises 5 luxury tents, nestled among grassland and hidden by a canopy of indigenous trees. What you get is as close to nature as one can get without actually going camping. The setting is really refreshing, with nature literally on your doorstep. It is nicely tucked away so you feel like you are away from the city while not being too far from everything. The property is right along the banks of the Magalies River so you can luxuriate in the views of the river and mountains in the backdrop.

Despite being made to resemble camping, you will receive world-class hospitality from the hosts who are always available to attend to your needs. You will enjoy the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, close to animals and vegetation. Each tent can host two adults and has a kitchen and a private bathroom. The rooms are self-catering so you will want to bring your own food. The place is still within driving distance of shops and restaurant, with a restaurant being available 4km from the site. For minor items there is a convenience store on the property. Other facilities for your enjoyment are the swimming pool, and barbeque facilities.

This lodging is a French-inspired guest house surrounded by the mountains. It offers beautiful views of Hartbeespoort dam. The rooms vary from a deluxe double room with a double bed, to the superior and penthouse suites with extra an extra large double bed and ample space. When staying her be sure to book a room on the first floor so you can have the majestic views of the dam from your balcony. The one thing missing from the establishment is an internet connection, which is a damper on an otherwise great package.

We like this one for two primary reasons: the location and the fact that it is very affordable. This lodge is located 8km from the dam wall and offers elevated accommodation in Hartbeespoort with superb lake views. The lodge can host up to six adults and boasts spacious rooms with private bathrooms. There is a shared lounge and kitchen, as well as a communal garden.
