The West Coast Fossil Park is near Langebaan. You can see fossils of bears, sabre tooth tigers, short necked giraffes and many other animals which lived on the west coast 5 million years ago. You can see the well-preserved fossils exactly as they were when they were buried millions of years ago. There is a restaurant on site were refreshments are served.
